New table tennis blog

Welcome to my new table tennis blog!

The purpose of this blog is to share my table tennis knowledge with you. I’ve been playing for many years and coaching other players since 2008. I’ve learnt a lot about table tennis during this time – how to stand, how to move, how to train, how to attack, how to defend, how to serve, how to win, how to deal with losses. So I have lots of useful tips to help you improve your own table tennis game.

I’ll be covering a lot of different topics about table tennis – technique, tactics, training drills, equipment, psychology and more. I’ll be bringing insights from my own development as a player and also insights from my coaching of other players.

I’ll try and update the blog regularly. If you want to get a notification when I publish a new blog post, please join my mailing list or follow me on Twitter.

Even though I’ve been playing table tennis for a long time, I’m still learning. There are plenty of things I need to improve  in my game and no matter how good I think I’m getting, there are always stronger opponents who make me feel like a beginner (this is true of all table tennis players, unless you’re fortunate enough to be world number 1!). So, I don’t claim to know everything and I’m happy to be challenged on anything I write. Please leave comments – I’ll try my best to respond.

I hope you find my blog useful and it helps you improve as a table tennis player. If you have suggestions for future blog posts, please do contact me.
