Most of us think we have a decent forehand attack. But the way we use our body often limits how much power we can generate.
In this video, coach Tyla Anderson shares a number of tips about how to generate more power.
He explains how he uses his legs, waist, rotation and forearm snap to hit very fast and hard. What makes Tyla interesting is that he is not very big, but he is able to use his small frame to get a lot of power.
His shots are absolutely loaded and incredible difficult to return. A great weapon to have!
In the video, Tyla is using this equipment…
- Blade: Butterfly Zhang Jike ALC
- FH & BH rubber: Victas V20 Double Extra

Another great video. The question is can Tyla, let alone others who aren’t professional table tennis players, play a killer forehand attack if there is heavy backspin on the ball and the ball is played wide to their backhand?
