Like many people around the world, I am unable to play table tennis at the moment because of the coronavirus outbreak.
But it is still very important to stay active and try maintain a healthy lifestyle.
During April and May, I will be running daily group table tennis workout sessions, via an online video stream.
The sessions are a mixture of aerobic exercises and table tennis shadow play. I give some coaching tips throughout the session. So after 30 minutes, you will have improved your fitness, your footwork and your technique. I encourage you to work hard when doing the exercises, but you choose how much to push yourself. No fitness equipment needed, although you can bring your table tennis bat if you want. Watch the video at the top of the page to get a visual idea of what to expect.
The sessions are delivered via Zoom, which you can use on any phone, tablet, laptop or computer.
Morning sessions start at 10am (BST / UTC+1). Evening sessions start at 7.30pm (BST / UTC+1).
The cost is £3 per session. You can purchase bundles of sessions for a reduced cost.
