During this group coaching day, I will show you how to get the most out of your training sessions and improve much faster. Too often players train in an unstructured way, but with the right mix of regular, irregular and match-play exercises you will be able to improve your standard significantly more. You will finish this day with lots of training ideas you can start using straight away.

What will you learn?
Here’s what to expect from this group coaching day…
10am-10.15am – Warm-up
10.15am-12.15pm – Regular and irregular drills … Learn how to use different types of exercises in your training sessions, with a focus on regular drills (where you know where the ball is going) and irregular drills (where you don’t always know where the ball is going).
12.15pm-12.45 – Lunch & chat with Tom
12.45pm-2.45pm – Match-play exercises … Learn different types of match-play exercises you can use in your training sessions. These exercises focus on a specific skill with the added pressure of winning points – the perfect combination to develop your overall match-play level.
2.45pm-3pm – Debrief / cool-down
Who is this training day suitable for?
This group coaching day is suitable for players of all standards. You should already be able to do a backspin serve, topspin serve, forehand push, backhand push, forehand drive and backhand drive.
This coaching day is not suitable for complete beginners. If you are unsure whether this coaching day is suitable for you, please email me with more information about your playing standard and I will advise.
How many participants will there be?
There will be a maximum of 10 players on this group coaching day. You will get the opportunity to play with different people throughout the day. You will also get plenty of individual feedback from myself when you do the training exercises. You will experience a positive coaching environment, joined by like-minded table tennis enthusiasts!
This group coaching day will take place at Kelsey Kerridge Sports Centre, Queen Anne Terrace, Cambridge, CB1 1NA.
Kelsey Kerridge is approx 15 minute walk from Cambridge train station.
If travelling by car, there is a multi-story car park next to Kelsey Kerridge. Please note that there is a charge to use this car park. Full details here.

If you live in another part of the UK (or another country), you could combine this group coaching day with a short weekend break to Cambridge.
