In this video, I explain a simple technique for doing a backhand flick.
The backhand flick is a very popular shot in table tennis. It can be done in a very advanced way, using lots of wrist and racket speed, to help generate huge amounts of speed and spin.
But if you are learning this shot, I think it’s easier to start with a more basic technique. The technique I show in this video is easy to learn and surprisingly effective at amateur level table tennis. This technique will also set the foundations you need to develop a more advanced backhand flick technique in the future.
This video is aimed at players at a beginner and intermediate standard.
